cd glassfish/bin
startserv
You get all the log messages. ^C to kill.

cd glassfish/ modules
then try...
java -jar glassfish-10.0-SNAPSHOT.jar
this should show a message like the following:

com.sun.enterprise.v3.server.AppServerStartup run
INFO: Glassfish v3 started in 14846 ms ..
