Creating New Session Configurations

The TopLink sessions configuration file (named sessions.xml) is an XML (extensible markup language) file that contains all sessions associated with a project. Each TopLink project belongs to a TopLink session. To deploy beans that belong to different projects, add an appropriate TopLink session (see "Working with Sessions" ) to the configuration.

Refer to "Navigating the Sessions XML File" for a sample sessions.xml configuration file.

Use this procedure to create a new sessions.xml for your TopLink project.

To Create a New sessions.xml:

  1. Right-click the TopLink Mappings in the Navigator and choose New sessions.xml from the pop-up menu. JDeveloper adds the sessions.xml to the Navigator.
You can also choose TopLink | New sessions.xml from the menu.
