Administering the Embedded OC4J Server

Configure the embedded OC4J sever as required for you applications and for proper operation with your system.

The operation of deployed applications is configured using the Embedded OC4J Server Preferences dialog. Configurations can be either global or local. Global configurations apply to all deployed applications. Local configurations apply only to projects belonging to a specific workspace.

To administer the embedded OC4J server:

  1. Set preferences for the embedded OC4J server .
  2. In the navigator, select a project.
  3. From the main menu, choose Tools | Emb edded OC4J Server Preferences.

    The Embedded OC4J Server Preferences dialog opens.

  4. Browse the deployed applications by expanding the Global | Applications branch of the dialog's tree. This information can be viewed but not changed.
  5. Configure the global services, as desired, by changing preferences in the Global branch of the dialog's tree:
  6. Configure the local services for the selected project's workspace, as desired, by changing preferences in the Current Workspace branch of the dialog's tree:
