Configuring Libraries for the Embedded OC4J Server

Use the Libraries pages of the Embedded OC4J Server Preferences dialog to specify the libraries that will be available to deployed applications. The configuration is recorded as <library> elements of the application.xml OC4J configuration file, but this file should not be edited except through the Embedded OC4J Server Preferences dialog, as described here.

To configure libraries for the embedded OC4J server:

  1. If you have not already done so, open the Embedded OC4J Server Preferences dialog:
    1. In the navigator, select a project.
    2. From the main menu, choose Tools | Em bedded OC4J Server Preferences.
  2. If you are configuring the global services, expand the Global - Libraries branch of the dialog's tree, and work in its pages. If you are configuring local services for the selected project's workspace, use the Current Workspace - Libraries branch.

    For specific information about a dialog page, click Help.

  3. Select the Libaries page.

    A list of installed libraries is shown.

  4. Click Add or R emove to modify the list. Libraries displayed in gray text cannot be edited or removed. In the Current Workspace - Libraries branch the entries are based on the the libraries selected in the current workspace.
