I have a very basic implementation in the latest build of the RI [1] for
those that want to try this out. Currently i have duplicated the iface
into the RI rather than upgrade to the latest 311 jar (which will
require more work).

For some simple examples see the unit test [2]. A bunch of observations
on the API made while implementing are included in the comments of the
impl [3].
