We are indeed launching our JSRs in stages. The first two batches
comprise those JSRs that are more "major" in this release. Batch #2
will be filed shortly after JavaOne. Other JSRs, including JPA 2.2
will follow sometime after that. At this point, my expectation is
still that JPA 2.2 will be a relatively small JSR. We devoted
considerable resources to JPA in the last several releases, but it is
now a relatively mature technology, and our focus has shifted. We
will be working out more of the details and discussing them with this
group after we regroup after JavaOne.
