I was evaluating JAXB to determine whether it was something I would like to incorporate into our design. There were a couple issues I was having, and was hoping someone on the list would have answered them already. When I realized I couldn't even search the list (for troubleshooting) without joining the list, I almost decided to scrap JAXB. Even when signing up, I wasn't sure whether to do DIGEST or not, because I had no idea of the amount of traffic the list received. However, I DID sign up.

I definitely agree with closed posting. I can understand the email issue, but realistically, what spammer couldn't join the list?
