Hello,
even though I haven't used Java 8 for productive code yet, I played
arround with Lambdas, Streams etc. (It reminds me a bit to LINQ, which I
love too). I tried existing code (including JSF progjects) to run on
Java 8. Till now, I haven't faced any problem.
Old systems seem to be compatible with Java 8, thus switching to Java 8
for productive systems will be a matter of (short) time.
I guess, the next JSF version takes some time. Would it be a maintenance
release before JEE8 [2015???] ? Or just with JEE8 [2016???] ? Even
though for the first, I guess Java 8 should be no problem. I prefer this
version.
Herzliche Grüße - Best Regards,
Michael Müller
