Hi all,
As may you know, CDI 2.0 (JSR 365) is in final ballot and should be
released in the coming days.
As CDI 2.0 introduce new features that may enhance or ease integration with
other frameworks or specs, we (the CDI and Weld team in cc) thought about
reviewing how other specs do their integration.
The idea is to bring support and make EE 8 consistency bette, so we wanted
to have your opinion on this idea and suggestion on how to proceed.
To start with EE 8 umbrella spec, thanks to Linda and Bill, we already
started a discussion about EE.5.24 process to create non-contextual
instances.
Thanks for your feedback and suggestion to make this work as efficient as
possible.
