I had posted my earlier reply this morning, it was just pending long enough
that it didn't come through until after your answers. It turns out that my
earlier change to domain.xml broke the asadmin get/set functionality, so was
obviously incorrect.
Your suggestions plus
asadmin set
configs.config.server-config.thread-pools.thread-pool.thread-pool-1.idle-thread-timeout-seconds=3600
have done the trick. I also installed the patch. Thanks for that
suggestion, too.
