One of the advantages of generating it at build time is code audits,
too. With findBugs and this copyright checker we'll likely start using
soon, all those generated files muck up the works. Not having to work
around them would be simpler in many ways.
But I definitely agree with Alexey. Servlet-deployer is your baby and
your input is as important and probably more so than most. Certainly
more than mine. ;) So please don't hold back an opinion or idea out of
fear of rocking the boat or ruffling feathers. We can't have a
collaborative community like that...
