Hi Oleksiy:
I am working on learning Faban from running 2dot0/modules/benchmark/faban-echo-driver.

Thank your for releasing this driver out which was released recently, so at least I can get better understood on how to create customized Faban driver for non-http protocol case.

Hi,
in 2dot0 workspace we have custom faban echo driver (2dot0/modules/benchmark/faban-echo-driver), which we use for EchoServer stress testing. You can compile it using ant and deploy the benchmark as described in the faban instruction.
When running echo driver you can specify target host:port, number of client threads and packet size.

AFAIK exactly Feban is used to test it.

Hi Everyone:

I had impression that Grizzly's Echo Server example had went through stress testing.  Can anyone tell me what kind tool your guys selected to perform stress testing for EchoServer (TCP/IP socket client server )kind server?
Faban seems to be suitable for sever stress testing based on http protocol .
