I thank you so much for your time Wolfram Rittmeyer. I did leave alot open so thanks on how to narrow things down.
Ok here is the deal I am about to setup a website for a customer who will be delivering some static and some but mostly active content. I do believe that in the near future my customer will want to have a forum of limited source. (restricted forum) I am trying to get involved in Solaris myself and like all that I see so far. I just can't, at the time, devote all the time it would take to get to an educated level. I am thinking, since I have prior experience with apache and linux that I can learn on the fly. There seems to be a lot of info to read. The problem is that I do not know for sure how far this client will actually go so I want to get going on what I have to but, if things are as I see them glassfish will be great in the future. This is what I am trying to prepare for. At present You could say that all I want is a webserver but, I an sure there will be expansion. I have looked at the webstack and at the web space packages but am not sure which direction to go for a starter.
Thank you for your time
Hope to hear from you soon
