You create the password file yourself, manually, and then you can specify it
on the command line. GlassFish does not generated the password file.
Please run "asadmin help" from the command line. Part of the output
describes in great detail how to set values in the password file.
The AS_ADMIN_PASSWORD setting might be of most use to you.
