I couldn't let it go and started reading about OSGi-modules and bumped into
your slides:

At slide 6 I read that you can deploy OSGi-modules with asadmin or by adding
them to the /autodeploy/bundles dir... so I placed my patched jar there. In
server.log I noticed that it was deployed successfully. I restarted GlassFish
and saw my patch in effect!
This is the perfect solution to my problem, now I don't have to bother my
sysadmin with patching GlassFish and can do it myself + I don't have mess
with the default GlassFish install.
