Looking at
http://staf.sourceforge.net/current/STAFJava.htm#Header_TestSTAFJavaSupport
If you run on Linux/Solaris you may use a sytemtool (like strace,truss)
which could tell you if STAF is uing JNI.
If it does you need to set 'native library path suffix' (or even proper
LD_LIBRARY_PATH for the user GF is running as -- depeding on the libs and
linker hints) to make it work within GF.
