On the left side navigation tree, Click on Configuration -> server-config
-> Security tree node.
The right side main frame let you configure the Security Service.
There is a checkbox named : Default Prinicapal to Role Mapping , with help
text saying "Apply default principal-to-role mapping at deployment when
application-specific mapping is not defined; does not affect currently
deployed applications"
By default, this is not checked. You can check the checkbox and Save.
