The work-manager in WebSphere is available across all containers of the
server whereas the one in GlassFish is used specifically resource-adapters by
connector container.
So, if you have a resource-adapter, it is possible to use the work-manager
using standard Connector APIs and tie it to a dedicated thread-pool in
GlassFish.
