Yes it does.
It only updates the necessary small set of files in the exploded view of
an EAR ( hence maybe the incremental term) , and then does a complete
'redeploy'.

GlassFish does not support it. The unit of deployment or reload or
redeployment is always the entire application, not part of it.
We try to optimize as much as we can in terms of speed. This is what you
see from NetBeans, it is fast, but a complete app redeployment.
