anilam, installing the latest build (glassfish-3.1.1-b10-unix-ml.sh) seems to
have cured this particular problem, but now I have another problem which
I didn't have before: the database connection doesn't wprk properly. I'll
submit a separate post for that one; thanks for helping me with this
particular problem.
