I'm happy that helped. GlassFish should work fine with dhcp and dynamic IP
addresses. Maybe there is an issue with DNS when you are on the WLAN that the
entry in /etc/hosts is working around? You may want to experiment with
nslookup when booted in the two environments and see if it behaves
differently -- especially when looking up the IP address for your system's
hostname.
