GF3.1 Clustering - Failed to rendezvous problem

Hi !

I setup 2 virtualbox instances (Ubuntu) with GF3.1.
These are the 2 nodes *n1* and *n2*.

n1 is running the *DAS* (default domain1) and a cluster *c1* (plus an
instance *i1*)

n2 is not running a domain or anything.

both nodes can ping each other (as n1,n2) and also ssh.

But trying to connect from n2 with

/*asadmin --host n1 --port 4848 create-local-instance --cluster c1 i2*/

gets me

/*Failed to rendezvous with DAS on n1:4848. Please check if this server is
running, that the host and port are correct, and that this server is
configured to allow remote access.*/
In the server.log on n1 I cant see any acitivity.

Do I need to configure the SSH on the DAS in order to connect from another
node or is it only required to control a remote node from the DAS?

Any ideas what could be the cause ? How to check connectivity ? Are there
any logs on n2 or n1 to provide more details ?

I use http://glassfish.java.net/public/clustering31.html and
http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E18930_01/html/821-2426/gksja.html as
guidance.

Thanks

Sven
