NetBeans 6.0.1 is way too old and does not work with v3.
Use NetBeans 6.9 for targeting a remote glassfish v3. Make sure you
install the nb version that has all the EE capbilities, including a
local v3 installation that is used to get some jars needed to
communicate with any remote servers.
