I have the same sad experience, too. After upgrading from Glassfish 2 to 3, my JSPs are [i]terribly[/i] slow - at the first request. (After that, they are quick). Could it really be a slow new JSP compiler?
What is the General Wisdom on this issue? I have a hunch that we're not the only ones.
