OK, 3.1 it is.

I really only need clustering for JMS at the moment, and the JMS Admin Guide (4.4u1) implies that clustering is supported in that context. So perhaps I can leverage GF3 in that respect and look at adding clustering to my full JEE environment when 3.1 is released.
