I know how to add required properties to a standalone RAR like the jmsra, and that I have done via the Additional Properties tab in the Admin GUI. That tab happens to be under the connection pool node, along with many other properties related to the connection pool under the Advanced tab. The connection pool is associated with the RAR. So, for an embedded RAR, I wondered how one would do the same thing, before deploying of the EAR. Everything looked fine with the concept of referring to the RAR via the application namespace i.e. myApp#myRA, but that is not allowed for setting up the pool in the first place. So there may be another approach that I missed. At the end of the day, I want to be able to access properties previously set up in the application server, from an embedded RAR.
