I have a GlassFish 2.1.1 installation on a CentOs 5.4 System. It runs jsf, jpa applications. After some hours of running it hangs with the following error:

I have done some researching at the forum and I have not found anything useful.
The parameter -Dcom.sun.enterprise.server.ss.ASQuickStartup=false was already set when it happened and the ulimit -n gives 1024. Is this number too small and causes the problem?
I would really apreciate your help.
