I'm not sure about that, but I think if I update (like I did) the class-path of the MANIFEST.MF files with the JAR (in order to answer to the JEE 6 specification about JAR visibility), this sould work.
I tried to deploy (from Eclipse IDE) Swing Client without the Web Client (I closed the project and removed link inside the application.xml), but the result is the same.
