We have tested Java EE 6 SDK with JDK 1.6.0_17 on Windows Vista before the release and found no issue.
Seeing that you are using 1.6.0_18, Yifeng from QA team has test this again with this new jdk release. Thanks Yifeng !!
She is running in this environment:
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_18-b07)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 16.0-b13, mixed mode)
Java EE6 SDK
Window Vista
The installation directory is C:\Sun\JDK
There is an NPE related to logger when the GUI is launched, but other than that, don't see any probelm.
She can bring up the console and does some basic sanity check. It runs fine.
So, this seems to be due to your environment, maybe due to what Snjezana suggested above ?
