Seems like the working version is GlassFish v3 Prelude + GlassFish Tools
Bundle for Eclipse 1.1. This is how the blog was created as well.

I filed https://glassfishplugins.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=301
for tracking purpose as this is a regression.
