Thanks for the response.
I enabled security but still cannot login.
I think I have everything configured but then again thats probably what i'm asking.
i also just copied the ojdbc14.jar to the lib/ext folder - I had it under glassfish/lib and my web-inf/lib already and maybe also on my classpath.
Now I am getting this message in my server log:
javax.security.auth.login.LoginException: Failed file login for any
at com.sun.enterprise.security.auth.login.FileLoginModule.authenticate(FileLoginModule.java:80)
Earlier I was getting an error about class not found for JDBCRealm such as
