Hi There,
i have a web service application running on Glassfish server v2 on XP machine. i can access, retrieve and manipulate data from the server with no problem from a running application on the same machine using the localhost:8080 wsdl address. however, changing the wsdl address from localhost to the machine's ip address stops accessing to the web serivce from outside totally!

using the web browser to display the web service wsdl file on Glassfish works fine using the localhost, 127.0.0.1 or machine's ip address. but this doesn't work from any other application that trying to communication with the web service.

by the way, at the moment I'm trying to access the glassfish server form a flex web application.

any thoughts on how to solve this problem will be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance
Ahmed
