Try to put 0.0.0.0 instead of your hostname and tell us what happens.
Check also if something is listening on the port configured.
If this is not working, do not hesitate to provide your domain.xml to take a quick but closer look at it.
Looks like localhost and 0.0.0.0 are currently the only configurations that work wit h GlassFish and openMQ.
Looks like that GlassFish has also problems with name resolutions when a NIC has more than one IP address configured (in that case, localhost seems to the resolution prefered ...).
Your problem could have something to do with these.
