By trial and error I managed to launch GFE using the following commandline:
% java -jar ~/download/glassfish-embedded-all-v3-prelude-b14.jar -p 8080 -q 4848
and it does start indeed correctly, except that on both localhost:8080 and localhost:4848 I see the same result: "Your embedded server is now running".
How can the admin console be accessed?
