In the meantime I could find out something new, really strange.
Appending the jsessionid to the url works only, if the servlet the jsp pages communicate with
has the same name as the context path.
Say, the jsession id won't appear in the url, unless the servlet doesn't have the same name like the package name.
How can this be?
I assume, it makes it very hard, to pass session information from one servlet to the next?
