Glassfish 2.1 capacity?

I got asked a very weird question today and realized I don't know the answer. Using the ballpark language of such hand waving queries, can someone tell me how many stateless session beans, deployed, a Glassfish server can handle without falling over?

I'm not talking about performance under load; that's probably different. I just mean in terms of deployment numbers--i.e. I've deployed, let's say, 500-1000 (to use ridiculous numbers) stateless session bean classes, ready to serve. Does Glassfish fall over? Is it limited only by memory (what I'd guess)? Or is there some sort of upper limit that gets exceeded somewhere?

Thanks,
Laird
