Under the domain directory(under config sub-direct).
You could backup the entire domain directory and restore it after you fix your installation.
Make sure that you restore to the same path as some scripts inside the domain directory might have hard-coded paths.
Just curious, what happend to your original AS 2.1 installation after upgrade? Were the files wiped out?
