Re: In-memory replication not working in multi-node configuration

Hi Mobi:

Sorry you're having difficulties. I can help you rule out some
of your proposed possibilities:

* is in-memory working only in 2.0 but not 2.1?
no - 2.1 (like 2.0) has been rather thoroughly tested (>1500 different tests)
* Is it working in 2.1 but not in zoned environments?
I know that people have used it in zones - but there may be configuration
issues to address, so you might want to try non-zone test and see if
that is it and if so then seek more guidance about zone configuration.
* Is it working but not with mod_proxy load balancing?
This is why I pointed you to Jan Luehe's blog. You may need to pursue
this further.
* Is it working only on one machine, but not between two machines (which would be simply stupid)?
no - this isn't your problem.

What we generally encourage people to do is to test simpler things to insure your
environment is ok. Almost always, there is some configuration issue.
So could you do a regular 3 instance cluster on 2 different machines without using zones
and make sure that works. This can for example isolate problems like "are the machines
on the same subnet" - they need to be or memory replication will not work.

hope this helps
