Hi,

Can you provide us some more details about what you are doing:

-which version of application server (or glassfish) are using ?

-Are you trying to use the "Sun Java System Monitoring Console" ?
If it is the case, "Sun Java System monitoring console should show up in the
top right hand corner".

All the details below applies to the "Sun Java System Monitoring Console"
if it is the product that you are mentioning. If not, don't consider
the explanation provided after.

If the product that you are using is the "Sun Java System Monitoring Console",
to add a host you need to have/provide:
-1) cacao installed on the target host
-2) start cacao on the target host
    -3)on your local host
              -restart cacao
              -restart sun monitoring console
    4) to add a host:
          -select hostname
          -select port (11164)
-use the test connectivity which should tell you
that the connection can be established
   5) as user/passowrd
-Remote Host Administrative User Name: provide the root user
-Remote Host Root Password: provide the root password
