I and Kshitiz found several ways to workaround the issue:
1. for linux take SUNWpr and SUNWtls packages from Glassfish HADB version, unzip and link via crle or envvars shell.
2. for solaris just compile apache with Sun Studio 12 + latest patches (*important*). After that you can use even default libs from /usr/lib/mps. Use "pca+patchdiag.xref" for checking. Checked under different environment.
