Now I found something in the response from gf server:

  <valid>
          <from>2009-03-15T00:00:00+01:00</from>
          <thru>2009-07-19T00:00:00+02:00</thru>
  </valid>

Does this mean, that gf (or) java rt map Date (with local settings) to a universal date with offest and additional it also put the summer/winter time into this offset depend of the periode (winter/summer) where the date is within.

It seams so.

But one client from us use axis and has some problems with this. Does this mean (if gf works like specs says) don't implement the spec's right?
