I just downloaded and unzip
http://download.java.net/glassfish/v3/promoted/glassfish-v3-ea-b37.zip
I am running jdk1.6.0_10 on my WinXP.
I can start the server and access the console by going to
http://localhost:4848
without any issue.
Are you able to deploy any application using CLI and access that ?
