Glassfish V2.1 still has this problem. Whilst I can change ports, I want to keep each instance with the same configuration of ports for ease of firewall rules, but just have the binding to IP.
I find the setting of addresses in domain.xml quite cumbersome. Would be nice to allow a substitution eg ${ipaddress} so that a base address can be stored in a separate config file like how Geronimo has it set up with config-substitutions.properties
