Thanks for your reply, I have gotten a bit further, creating a node on the DAS machine works fine. So I create a node on the second machine but it still fails. The initial setup used to work fine for a while:
asadmin create-node-agent --host glassfish1 --port 4848 --user admin cluster1-node2-agent
The node appeared in the DAS web interface and I created a instance for it. Then I ran the command to start the node agent on the glassfish2 machine. This would not work and even though I did not touch the hosts file or the network settings the whole rendezvouse thing stopped working now too.
Glassfish clearly has issue with some of my of settings. A command like asadmin list-clusters --host glassfish-1 --port 4848 works just fine, so any password, dns or networking issues should be ruled out. What else could cause these node agent connection issues?
