Thank you for your answer, and I appologise about not making things clear enough.
I am talking about updating the model. I was thinking about having the logic in the entity beans but I've read alot about this being somewhat of a 'bad practice', this is why I was courious to see what others think about this.
Also thank you for sharing your thoughts on using the EM. I usually do not have logic in the entity beans, only some utility code, but I do pass them around a lot too.
