I'm using python with asadmin to automate tasks like deploys / server starts and stops etc, but I'm having difficulty in knowing how to expect when something has gone wrong.
If an asadmin task fails it still seems to pass back a returncode of 0 [success] and I can't possibly scrape all of the potential error messages to know if it hasn't succeeded.
Has anyone used asadmin to automate tasks and how do you check for errors?
