I have discussed with Jitu who is the jaxws spec lead and think the first part seems to be the bug where we cant find the wsdl @WebService( ..., wsdlLocation="META-INF/wsdl/myservice.wsdl")
SEVERE: wsdl file META-INF/wsdl/myservice.wsdl does not exist for web service MyService
. If you can file a bug and attach your ear file I will look at it.
Regarding the catalogs I do not think they need to be resolved for relative URIs and I was checking the jaxws spec for that too and that did not mention about that.
