thank you for your reply.

Do you (or somebody else) have some experience when you should use two or more instances on one physical machine?
E.g. you have a dual core, each core with 2 Ghz, with 2 GB RAM. Would there be just one instance waste of resources?

And are the needed resourceses of an instance fixed, e.g. that one instance can maximal allocate e.g. 512 MB or 1 GB ram, so that you easily calculate how many instances you should run on one machine?
