I tried running Apache2.0.63 on RHEL 3 with load-balancer plugin. It works fine for me.
You can ignore these unresolved apache dependencies. I got same result on my setup.
My LD_LIBRARY_PATH in envvars looks like :
LD_LIBRARY_PATH="/space/kshitiz/apache2.0/installation/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/space/kshitiz/lbplugin/lib"
Please let me know which Linux platform you are using.
