Thanks for starting this thread. The spec looks good. Here are some
comments...

1) Section 4.5.1.2 - IPS meta data will be part of the zip distribution.
The spec does not specify this. Please clarify.
2) Section 4.5.1.2 - Package glassfish-common looks little bloated with
19 modules. Perhaps we could move the connectors modules (3) into
glassfish-connectors package. glassfish-jdbc package may have dependency
on glassfish-connectors package. Also, there are also 3 security related
modules that may be moved under glassfish-security package (if that make
sense).
3) EJB timer functionality may be moved under glassfish-ejb-timer
package (Please contact Mahesh to confirm).
4) REST API support will be available (UC only) as a package. We will
need a package (glassfish-management-api) for this (Please contact
Rajeshwar to confirm).
5) How is branding (OEM) accommodated in packaging? If customers want to
OEM GFv3, would we recommend them to use our packaging and build
infrastructure? Please specify how this is expected to work.
6) What is planned to be delivered from packager? How are the packages
expected to be published to IPS repository?
